Free Online Design Activities

We are excited to bring you a number of free online design workshops created by local artists and designers, that you can do at home with the whole family!

While the UK has been in lockdown for several weeks, sadly leading us to make the difficult decision of cancelling Dundee Design Parade 2020, we understand that home schooling has been a challenging time for families across Dundee, and the UK.

We know just how many young people and their group leaders/teachers were looking forward to participating in Dundee Design Parade 2020, so we hope you enjoy these online design workshops that you can do with objects lying around your home! These online workshops are suitable for all ages, we would just recommend some adult supervision. You don’t have to live in Dundee or have previously taken part in a design workshop to join in. We would love to see where in the world you are joining in from so please tag us in your creations @designdundee (Instagram/Twitter) and @DundeeCityofDesign (Facebook). Alternatively you can email our Desk Officer, kirsten.wallace@leisureandculturedundee.com with images and videos of your creations. We would really love to see what you all come up with!
